I forgot vanitas literally moans when getting his blood sucked….
Like this is unhinged
Grateful for the fact that, in sex scenes in bg3, not only do you get the chance to say yes/no/I'm not sure in the beginning but you get MULTIPLE chances to revoke your consent. Grateful that several characters (both companions and npcs) discuss issues such as autonomy, respect, being on the same level as your lover, whether they actually enjoy certain things or not, and the relationship between their body and the world. Again, grateful that a character like Astarion can get the chance to explore his desires within his comfort zone and say he thinks he's ready after a long time— things are going to be different now, of course, but he's reflected on this and he would like to try.
was talking to my gf about my fear of dying young for being trans and my mom putting my deadname on my gravestone, and she said "i hope that never happens, but if it does, i will carve your name into your grave myself if i have to." and i think theres something extremely raw about that sentiment and trans community in general. you can kill only our bodies, but you cant kill transsexuality
Bakugou is such an anomaly in my type because he goes to bed at 8pm sharp, drinks 5 litters of water daily, keeps his body and health in check and is a vision of perfection- when meanwhile I usually like’em a little creepy or odd, malnourished, haven’t seen the sun in 3 months, let alone eaten a decent meal or slept more than 6 hours.
Turns out you’re the malnourished weirdo in the relationship and Bakugou’s like “you’re sexy but please for the love of god get some sleep/eat well”
Boycott Disney. Boycott McDonald's. Boycott Starbucks. "Oh but it won't work, it won't do anything" Yes it will. Boycotts have worked before and they will again. Think of the Montgomery bus boycotts. Think about American women boycotting imported British goods during the revolution.
Why do you think popular media is so quick to discount boycotts as ineffective? Could it possibly be because they work? Could it be because major corporations understand that they work and are scared? Could it be because boycotts have historically been utilized by marginalized groups to assert their views and fight for change within a conflict in which they have no power?
Do not have give in to the apathetic nihilism of "nothing I do matters, so why bother?" That is exactly what oppressors count on. Be critical of the media you consume. Ask questions. Look to history. Boycott.
